Eyebrow Threading

For those of you who have never heard or taken part of this heaven sent hair removal. YOU MUST!
"THREADING" is the name.

I first had it done in Vancouver about 3 years ago, and have searched high and low for ladies/men in Saskatchewn who do it ever since. Sure... some salons do it... but no little freckly white girl can thread an eyebrow like women with culture who have been doing it since they could stand.

Lucky me!.. I found an AMAZING eyebrow threader in Regina. Her name is Satima. I highly encourage you to go try it out! Its cheap, quick, painless, and shapes your eyebrows for months on months. I go quite regularly.. mainly because i love Satima.. but also.. because having freshly shaped brows makes me feel beautiful even without makeup on.

Look up "threading" on youtube.com to see what its like!

SATIMA: 306-351-5271 or 205-5928
She charges $5.00.. give her $10! I don't know what she is thinking... she deserves way way more. You will never beat that!
She also waxes.

These are a few of my favorite things...

Some things are worth the splurge. Some are just worth buying over and over and over again, because nothing compares! Here are some of my favorites... cheap, or steap....

1. Mascara-Loreal Voluminous original mascara: AMAZING! I have tried every mascara, and myself as well as all my girlfriends SWEAR by this golden find. $7

2.Eyeshadow- Mac
"naked lunch" (a nice shimmery beige that can be used under or over ANY color. It's simple and classy.)
"Carbon" BLACK! I use this as eyeliner, for smokey eyes, or for the entire lid. If you want to use it as a bold eyeliner, simple wet your small diagonal brush before you apply). $14 each

3.Brows- Joe clear brow sealer. This is bought at Superstore in the makeup section. It keeps brows looking clean, groomed and in place. $4

4.Eyeliner- Covergirl Outlast Smoothwear. This stuff lasts forever. Its like a crayon almost, I use it for the inside of the eye for that bold and brightening eye look. $6

5.Lipstick-Mac. My favorite two colors right now are "Ladybug Red", which is that BRIGHT and bold red that eveyone seems to always be looking for. "Media" is almost a DARK purple/black. It is very in right now, I think every girl should try wearing it out atleast once! So fun, so hot.$15

6.Tinted Moisturizer- Merle Norman. I love tinted moisturizer when its summer and I dont need alot of makeup, when my skin is clear and don't need a cover up, or just to have in my purse incase I stay out all night and need something to boost my self-esteem in the morning.

7. Brushes- Mac and/or QUO. You don't need as many brushes as you think. You need a large powder brush, blush brush, large shadow brush, small angled liner brush, and a lip brush. Also a foundation brush is handy... some people like to do without. It's a preference. I like it. Brushes range from $10-$60 but you can catch sales regularly around the holidays.

8. Bronzer- Arbonne. My NEW favorite! I have tried every bronzer in the book and dislike them all. I just recently tried some of my girlfriends from Arbonne and fell in love! Its so light, and in a VERY LARGE case! You dont need much, therefore it lasts a long long time. Many people sell beauty control, it's finding a contact that might be the hard part. Check out the website. www.Arbonne.ca to find out how to order.
around $45 dollars, but worth every penny in the long run.

9.Setting Spray-Model in a Bottle. I saw this stuff on Oprah one day and thought i just HAVE to have it. Its like hairspray for your face! How much greater could that get? It comes in a bottle and you mist it on after you are done your makeup application. It allows your makeup to stay on with sweat, rubbing, time..etc. Its awesome. Look it up on the internet and I believe there will be ordering options.

10. Brush Cleaner-Icypropyl Alcohol. There are many different brush cleaners you can buy out there. I think they are just eating your money. Personally, I just spend $2.00 on a bottle of Icypropyl and put it in a spray bottle. Spray my brushes then wipe off with a towel and leave to dry. Its cheap, safe on your brushes, and easy. You can get it at any drugstore.

I could go on and on! But for now I hope I found you some of YOUR new favorites. Email me for any other questions, or recommendations on any other products! :) Enjoy.

"HAIR"- My newest makeup/hair adventure!

"Do it with class" is Regina’s only theatrical production company made up entirely of youth. DIWC provides company members with a unique opportunity to receive training in a range of performing arts, including dance, voice, drama, and musical theatre production.

Just a FEW examples of shows they have done are:
The Rocky Horror Show
WestSide Story - Alumni
The Little Prince
Titanic, The Musical
The Actor's Nightmare
Talking & Complaining

This YEAR on October 26th & 27th-HAIR the musical
SEX, DRUGS, & ROCK & ROLL!
Easy? YA RIGHT! This showbiz stuff isnt for sissies. They yell, they scream, they rush... but they never stress. I was more stressed getting them ready then they were performing! Performers are such easy going, natural creatures.
It was such an AMAZING experience. Getting to be backstage and involved in all the chaos was insane. I did way more hair then I did makeup...wasn't prepared at all. But thats showbiz right?
Seat of your pants.
